About the Author I grew up in the midwest and moved to my mountains twenty years ago. I have been a guest teacher of creative writing at the local high school and wrote a humurous column for the weekly paper several years ago. My three grown kids and a sweet boyfriend keep me smiling but when I do have the occasional rainy day, I just look out my window. I am a very lucky girl.
Randy&Corinne Senne I thought the book was very good and highly recomend it to everyone to read it. It keeps you very interested in whats gonna happen next.It is a hard book to put down for any length of time with out picking it back up to see what else is gonna happen. She has a way making you feel like you are part of the characters. It is very refreshing book to read I would like to read some more books by this author. If a person does not read this book they are missing out on a very good peice of reading material. Flasher I found Rebecca Medearis writing to capture you and hold your attention from the first chapter. She brought out the area of Idaho to the point that I felt I had grown up there. The trials and tribulations that Carly went through were sad at times and humorous at others. Carly was warm and sensitive one momemt and rough and tough the next. She had a mouth on her that would curl you hair. The characters in the book came to life as if you knew them or wanted to meet them. I will be looking forward to the next book! Keep up the writing Rebecca Medearis! Vivian Adams Loved This Book I absolutely loved this book. It held me in anticipation of each coming sentence. I was not bored for an instant. The writers descriptive witticisms are exceptional. It is a story with tumultuous emotions that everyone can identify with. A life story of friendships, family conflicts, unquited love, tragedy and hummor. This book has it all. It drew me in and didn't let me me go until the end. I hope this author will have a new book out shortly. I am definetly on the waiting list.
